“These are absolutely amazing and look great! Originally I put them in the bottom of the cauldron with just enough water to go to the stopper in the cord, but I felt it wasn't producing fog the way I wanted it to. So I filled the bottom with Styrofoam and left about 5 inches at the top, sealed it so water couldn't seep underneath then put them in 4" of water. I'm in love!! As others have suggested, they are on a timer so they turn on and off automatically. ”
